Stopped by for an impromptu lunch while visiting Sandwich. Had a wonderful homemade steak and ale pie - a proper pie with a crust and base. I also had the homemade brownie, which was just to die for. We shared a bottle of rose, which was a perfect accompaniment. Staff and landlord were all welcoming and friendly! All in all, a perfect afternoon!
