        Our hosts were very welcoming on arrival, but couldn't be found when problems arose later in the week. Having a separate entrance, patio area, well-fitted kitchen and an extra bedroom made for a better than average stay. The rooms were comfortable and clean, but it's an old house with inevitable (?) short-comings: banging plumbing, a step from one part of the apartment to another and Wi-Fi that suddenly failed. The rough unadopted road made access a slow process to avoid damage to my car, but having parking spaces right outside was a bonus.
