My Mum was taken to Springfield after breaking her hip. As a 94 year old she needed a lot of support which she was given in spades, all the staff have been wonderful not only to Mum but to me as well. The rooms are spotless and modern and the food is excellent. A good experience all round.

This is a truly wonderful Nursing Home. My husband has been here for a month now and I cannot praise Springfield highly enough. The senior staff are very professional and manage the Home very well. The Nurses know what they are doing and carry out their roles superbly. The Health Care staff are very kind and caring and sympathetic and look after my husband to the highest possible degree. The whole team functions very well together and always appear happy and motivated right through to the cleaners, laundry staff and receptionist and admin assistant. The food is great too! My special thanks must go to Michael and Camelia, the two Deputies. The Manager, Yvonne, must also be congratulated for being in overall charge, although we do not see her very much - managing a Home like this is not an easy job. The other thing that must be mentioned is that when summoned for assistance, we never have to wait long for someone to appear to help my husband - I know that long waiting times can be a common bugbear in Care Homes and Nursing Homes, but we have not experienced this at Springfield - someone soon appears if we ring the bell and they never appeared harried or rushed, but always pleasant and smiling and eager to help. As far as I can see, very meticulous paperwork and records are kept! In my opinion, this must be the best Home on the Island! My husband has been happy here.
