We were given SDWs details by our architect. Meeting with Stuart at the start of a protracted and quite complex update and extension of a 1930s bungalow gave us a good feeling of being able to work with his company. The project was spread over three stages. His way of working, both practically and accounting, is very user friendly. His team of guys and managed sub contractors delivered what could have been a sticky project went very well. During the 2 years communications were good, suggestions as to better options or just good ideas to improve the final product were forth coming. His team were very considerate of our neighbours which helped as the work was quite significant. I would have no issue recommending SDW for all building works , which in our case spilled into hard landscaping.

We are only at an enquiry stage but Stuart is everything youd want from a builder yet rarely find - friendly / professional / very helpful and above all honest! He went the extra mile to help us - If and when we are ready to use a builder on an upcoming project Stuart will be first in line!

We used Stuart to totally refurbish our three storey town house in Cowes, chimney removal, new floors, walls, electrics plumbing and heating, the whole works! He also undertook extensive hard landscaping in the garden. The house is now like a brand new house .He takes great pride in his work and it it shows in the result. He has a great team, who are all hard working and friendly We would not hesitate in recommending him and his team. Make that call...........

ACE Man Stewart. Starts early! I grew up working with carpenter (ex-trade) father so I very highly recommend Stewart's - SDW Builders. Recently we closed our 'Refurbish & Let' business in Blaenau Gwent having moved south. On our home & busines properties since '90s we've experienced a wide range of standards & estimates offered by building related tradersmen in Wales & the South West. We recommend his work highly for Stewart's considerate working habits, standards & cost.

Stuart came and took a look at the work required and gave advice on what would be best for us. He then came over the Bank Holiday and completed coping stones on our wall and then fenced on top (see pics). Lovely chap, very hard working, neat and tidy and punctual couldn't wish for more and totally up front with everything. Would reccomend 100%. Will be using again.
