A great location to pop around the island. The room was spacious with everything we needed and very clean. The reception staff were polite, the bar was relaxing (cheaper than the pub) and the lady serving was happy and thoughtful (we had a dog, she made sure she was well watered too)! The breakfast was plentiful and the staff were accommodating (it was nice to be able to eat together in a room off the dining room with the dog)! The only ridiculous thing was the price-so cheap! Thank you, we will be back again!

We was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, it is fog friendly as well which is a bonus. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The bedroom was clean and was stocked with tea, coffee, sugar and milk every day. We had a ground floor room with a door opening up onto the garden which was really helpful as I had a dog. There was also a little table and chairs outside so we could sit out and have our morning coffee. Yes the hotel is slightly dated but that didnt bother us, it has character and the grounds were clean and tidy and a added bonus seeing the red squirrels playing in the trees. The gardens are lovely as well, just wished the weather was better to be able to sit out there. Would definitely stay here again!
