    Lucky we were only here for 2 days. It was appalling. The room looked like it hadn't been cleaned. Toilet was filthy. floor was disgusting, hadn't been swept or hoovered. Dust everywhere. I didn't want to touch anything. No plug in sink. Curtains were shreds. Windows looked like they hadn't been cleaned for god knows how long. Mold in shower. Bed was so uncomfortable with paper thin quilt and pillows. I had to ask for more towels and bedding. The sheets looked dirty. If I hadn't been there visiting my brother I would have left and gone home. And as for continental breakfast, well that was a joke. No croissants. Just cereal, toast and cold tea. The breakfast room didn't look presentable and the staff didn't even look like they wanted to be there either. One of the table legs was waiting to just fall off. I will never stay here again even if it was the last hotel left. The place should be shut down until it's made a vast improvement. Also to top that I came back with covid! I did not give it a star rating because the above explains why!! Lol had to give it 1 star otherwise it wouldn't let me leave a review. I think the Hotel board should just turn up there sometime unexpected.

    Booked a couple of months ago to arrive 19/1/23, payment was taken the week before. We turned up to it locked and a notice on the door 'closed until further notice'. Didn't even bother to call or email us. The carpark was a mess and a broken window was covered by a black bin bag. But reading the recent reviews, and seeing the pictures, we had a lucky escape. Not even an apology and a refund is going to take 7-12 days. Definitely look elsewhere.
