Great location 5min walk from the beach. Small rooms but, a young family of 4 can fit in comfortably. Good breakfast, however the same spread is offered everyday so can be a bit boring at times. Nearby activities: Near by beach

I went to Chester Lodge Hotel in May and this is my honest opinion on the accommodation, although it might differ from others, this was the experience I had. I came to this hotel on holiday with my school, but it was more like a house than a hotel. The bedroom was tiny, not large enough for six people. We were told that the bunks were brand-new, yet my friends found dirt and rust on theirs, which probably meant they were second-hand. Also in the small bathroom, the net curtains had what looked like black mould on them. There was only a shower(no bath), and to get hot water from it, you had to turn the tap on hot water first. No soap was provided for the sink, so I had to share my hand-wash soap. I was also the only person who brought shampoo/conditioner, although both me and my friend brought body-wash. There was also a consistent smell of damp and mould throughout the hotel. The food wasn't good and the scrambled eggs were runny. I most certainly wouldn't recommend this hotel, as I know it would ruin your stay in the Isle of Wight.

Went here with my school it was poor quality and my shower in my room didnt have a lock that worked I stayed for 4 days and completely hated it a part from the staff who were really nice and especially Sui who served me my food but sadly the food was far from quality and tasted awful personally I would not go here again its not worth it

Located quite close to all attractions in sandow as well to seafront. Walking distance to Shanklin via the Revetment. Room does'nt have hair dryer, which should be a good addition to have.
