Manor Spa Hotel

We went last year and I have to say I agree with all the 1 star reviews. I never normally leave these kind of reviews but feel bad that someone else will turn up expecting something better. WHen we arrived we did not recognise the place from the photos. The reception door was locked and it was early. The sign saying please do not take any photos should have been a clue. The bar was closed, you had to call someone to buy a drink which made you feel like you were imposing. All the lights were off, it felt so unwelcoming and like you were almost trespassing in someone's house. The spa did not look usable and our room was like a college halls of residence. It didn't help that everywhere in the island was booked so you couldn't even book a restaurant. All in all very gloomy accommodation and VERY expensive.

Dont go! The photos bear no resemblance to this hotel. We booked this hotel for the spa, we went in once & I was speechless at the state of it. Cold murky pool, grit at the bottom of the hot tub and a dirty floor. I asked to cancel shortly after arriving, something I have never done before, it was refused, that night we found long fair hair in the bed when we turned it down. Look on google reviews, something I wish I had done, all the 1/5 reviews are telling the truth some going back 2 years.
