        The fruit and vegetables from this shop are top drawer. You cannot get fresher. Or tastier. Or longer lasting. Or better value. Try the strawberries (lasted nearly a week and were yum) or the more exotic Pak Choi. Im spending more on fresh produce cos its so appealing.

        For ages I wanted to move away from supermarket fruit and veg and support my local businesses. Root and Fruit has given me that opportunity! Lots of local fruit and veg on offer, less waste with barely any plastic used too. Simon the owner is friendly and helpful, offering amazing prices for better quality produce. Quite a few of the items are also from local allotments. I wont be going to the supermarket for my produce anymore as Root and Fruit is now my favourite place to grab my produce. Extra bonus- everything I've bought has lasted a LOT longer than supermarket produce. Remember to shop local people!
