        I was shopping here in September whilst on holiday and found the shop quite charming and the lady in charge polite and friendly. However, when I went to pay fir the item I wanted to purchase which was 10.50, I was told point blank that I was unable to pay for it with an old 20 note as it was NO LONGER LEGAL TENDER! Does the proprietor not know that they cease to become legal tender on 30th September 2022. I knew it wad still legal tender but I really wanted to buy it so I paid on card, but I was very annoyed!
