We have been Morndyke Shepherds' Huts for a long week end with our lovely French bulldog Nala. It's a great place to recovery from a busy scheduled week. The hut is lovely, it has everything: fridge, hob, microwave, grill, and own barbecue outside. You can walk on fields or around the lake. You find books and board table to spend some time if the weather works against you. Wood fire stove and the view in the moaning, with a good cup of coffee, are amazing. A couple of things could be improved: I think I haven't read anything about the "honesty box", I had some cash to buy cloths, logs, and soap but not enough for the change. There is no socket in the kitchen that means you need to use the hob on the table. We used our bath cloths to try not demage it. An extention may help to use the hob in the kitchen.

Stayed in a Mopsy. It wasn't what we expected. The hut itself is ok and the views are lovely. But there was dust on the pans. There was grease on the grill and hotplate and the barbecue wasn't clean. Also it's a working farm so expect lots of flies to come in the hut. Why they don't have fly screens I don't know because that would help. We had to keep the door and windows shut to keep them out. We had to buy some wine glasses from the local Tesco because the plastic ones there were old and full of scratches and didn't look clean. Just wished we took pictures for proof. We booked for 3 nights but only stayed for 2 as it wasn't up to standard. My partner messaged the owner when we returned home but she was rude and dismissive and didn't offer an apology. This is my review others might find it different but we will definitely not be going back.
