        Lovely quaint pub, I had high expectations as this was recommended for Sunday lunch! However.........not great for the price!. OVER 22 for beef dinner the beef was nice after the fat was cut off which then didn't leave much beef. Yorkshire pudding looked nice but pretty tastless, the gravy was like brown water and the small portions of veg were nice, the roasties were anemic. I wanted to complain but my husband just wanted to get out, which is what we did. Paid the 50 odd bill and left never to return. Lots of other people there enjoying the food just not for us, we have had better dinners for half the price. Clearly a captive market in that area.
