St Marys is an Adorable and unspoiled little medieval church with several unusual features not least of which is the exquisite C15 lion pew end . I was so pleased to find the church open on my visit a couple of days ago . It is in a very beautiful and peaceful location at the end of a rural lane and with gorgeous outlook over mid Devon countryside. If you should visit look out for the unique lion , who looks most unlike a lion , the Norman Font , the C17 memorial on the wall , and the zodiac tiles behind the altar.
