We have a Springer Spaniel from here. After having fairly negative experiences with a whole variety of rescue societies we came across this society. We were amazed by the process - they match the dog with the family (& go into great detail) then a virtual home visit which looked at everything, visiting the dog they had chosen for us twice and being interviewed by the rehoming officer and the trainer, who gave us loads of advice which we took on board. Only on the third visit were we allowed to bring him home. Whenever we have had a problem they have been there for us, especially Anthony, their volunteer trainer who is the most knowledgeable person you could hope to find and an amazing human being. Our beautiful boy was quite traumatized and suffers from anxiety but is doing well and utterly adored by our family, friends and acquaintances. We always feel we can reach out for help if we need it. I cannot recommend them highly enough but if you go for a Springer you will walk your legs off - they love to be busy!
