The Reading Doctor, Cheshire East

Jo is fantastic with my son, Finn (age 7). He definitely lost his confidence with reading through lock down. Jo has helped him not only regain his confidence but to actually enjoy reading again! His progress in the last few months with Jo has been amazing. Trying to get him to read at home is no longer a battle : ) I would recommend Jo to anyone

When my daughter first went for lessons with Jo 7 months ago, she was really struggling with her reading and because she couldn't do it, she wasn't interested in trying. She had been on the same level since reception (she was going into year 3) within 6 weeks of learning with Jo, she went upto the next reading level, and within a month, she'd gone up again. She can now read a book fluently without any help and she's reading things all the time. I'm so proud with how far she's come. I can't recommend the reading doctor enough! 5 stars just isn't enough! Thank you so much Jo for giving me one less thing to worry about x

My son has been having sessions with Jo for just over a month now. We cant believe the change in his attitude to reading. His school had recently identified him as dyslexic and We didnt feel that he was getting the extra support he needed in school. Having heard great things about The Reading Doctor we thought wed give it a go. He has really connected with Jo and looks forward to each lesson. Jo has quickly got to know our boy and knows just how to motivate him and give him the confidence he was lacking with his reading. Our sons teacher has commented on the improvements she has seen which is a testament to the work that Jo has put in with him. Even during these testing times we have managed a session with Jo every week whether in person or remotely. We highly recommend Jo, our reading angel
