        Visited for Sunday lunch a few weeks ago - party of 10. Customer service was excellent from the time I booked to the time the proprietor/chef came out to the car park to say goodbye as we were leaving. Very refreshing not to have a service charge added to the bill or even as an option on the card machine (obviously we left some cash as a tip!). The food was great too - huge Sunday roast and the vegetables were particularly great (can I have the recipe for the red cabbage, please?). If I'm ever in the area again, I would definitely go back.

        Had the most delicious vegan roast here today- 5 different veg ( including cauliflower cheese!) as well as the most amazing roast potatoes AND ( fanfare , drumroll!) Yorkshire pudding!!! The staff were so lovely- Fiona and her team did us proud!

        Such a cosy pub, great service and the food is absolutely delicious! Great veggie and vegan options too. They had an enoki mushroom special which was SO good! Definitely recommend!
