I found Annette to be professional and courteous. She combines a flair for design with a highly pragmatic approach - conscious of budget as well as aesthetics. This was a big project for us, undertaken before and during the pandemic and was a challenge which she managed well. She has developed excellent working relationships with contractors and sub-contractors - essential for any commercial designer.

Annette is exactly what you need in a designer. She is meticulous about asking the right questions in the early stages so that she is able to deliver exactly what you want. There is no detail missed at any point and it was so great to also see how incredibly responsive she was over email. I knew that any email sent would be responded to within no more than 12 hours. I have never worked with someone like this. Everything turned out exactly the way we wanted it (and more). She also did all the purchasing for us, which was a godsend as I have done it myself for our previous house and it was one of the most time consuming part of the process. She was on site all the time directing our builders making sure that no detail was missed. I quote her with something she said to one of our builders when putting up the pendants in our main hall.. 'every single millimetre counts' and this is why it is so important that your designer has this much attention to detail. Sometimes they see things that you might not even start to consider. I don't think we will get anyone else to design anything else we do. Once you have found the designer you gel with who gets you, you stick with them. And our designer is Annette. Annette worked with us to refurbish our Hove seafront flat. We wanted a modern look that was cosy but sophisticated at the same time. Annette created some great mood boards so we knew we what to expect colour and pattern wise. The paint palette she chose has been wonderful - many compliments on the soft greys and greens chosen. The rooms really flow. There was quite a complex rebuild involved which Annette handled brilliantly. She also sourced some great furniture for us and curtains throughout which look stunning. Annette chose some great lighting throughout too which has really enhanced the flat and allows us to tone the lighting to the mood. The finished result is incredible and we love our new home. Annette was lovely - easy to work with and felt we could discuss any aspect with ease. So happy we found her.
