This is a brilliant school. My son has gone here for the last 5 years and I have been hugely impressed by the care and attention of the school and the teachers, especially the head mistress who has turned this school around. They really care about the children and recently the academic results have been extremely good. This is now one of the top primary schools in Cornwall and they deserve it. I have not heard any reports of bullying and all the children seem very happy and enthused. Facilities are also very good and well-looked after. As for the comment below about money; this is a reality of schools now, they are cash strapped and if they want to give the children extra experiences then they do have to ask the parents for contributions. They try really hard not to ask too often and also raise funds to help subsidise many of the trips. Funding for schools has generally been depleted over the last 8 years this is what is happening on the ground but this is not the school's fault, this is central government making its decisions. They do a brilliant job in what are likely to be difficult circumstances and I am delighted my son is so happy here and thriving.

money money money...not a week goes past they dont pass something onto the children to pass on to the adults wanting something, knowing full well when the kids see it they will want it. No sooner after paying 300 for a school trip (not a trip abroad, 90mins away) they want 10 for a disco, and its like this throughout the year every year. If I knew back then what I do now I would never of sent my child here. Huge amount of bullying happening as well there, my advice would be get your child into bishop cornish school.
