Post Office

The Google Maps listing and the Royal Mail website both falsely claim this Post Office is open on a Sunday. This isnt true. The Post Office branch inside the store is closed on a Sunday. They have a single Post Office counter by the main till which is open on a Sunday, but it does not provide the full range of Post Office services. In any case, when I went there they had lost the key, so even this limited service wasnt open.

Drove to post office this morning got there 7am opening time staff said not open until 8 am unbelievable

Most unhelpful and slowest staff. Really poor level of service on majority of occasions I have been here. If only there was a local alternative

Disgusting service. First time using this post office. Joined to queue up to post a parcel at around 13:55pm. On their website and front of store it states they are open 11pm on Saturday. When I got into a position to be served (it took a while as the customer in front was sending a lot of stuff, not a fault of the post office) an extremely stroppy member of staff told me that they closed at 2pm. The time now was 2:02pm but I had been in the queue before 2pm. Having worked in a super market before, if a customer queues before closing time they should be served! I had to drive across to Plymouth in the end because I didn't trust that the other post offices in Saltash would stay open, but it was also a hassle that I really didn't need. Cost me extra for tag and parking but at least I knew I wouldn't have to deal with poor customer service! I'm sure the rest of the staff are good at this post office (based on some other reviews on here), but the treatment I got from my first time in this post office from that member of staff means I will refrain from using this one in the future!
