My husband has vascular dementia and has been in Asheborough House for six months. The staff are all wonderful and he has settled in well. His general health and care has improved and I now feel he is in good hands and being well cared for. Thanks to you all.

My mother lived here for 7 years. I cannot fault the place. It doesn't have a care home "smell". At lunchtime it smells like a restaurant. I was even able to have Xmas dinner with my mother there. The staff were attentive and respectful. It was nice to be able to drop in anytime.

A year ago Asheborough House was the best place for my mother and she had the best care and attention that was needed at that time, now she has been able to get better and move on, all thanks to the dedicated Matron and her staff, who have a great deal of patience with their patients/residents and they need to be highly commended for a splendid job - 'a proper job' as it is said in Cornwall. No task is too big or too small for them to do and with a warm smiley face.
