We received a thorough detailed report highlighting the challenges we would face buying a grade II listed building. David was prompt, clear & helpful answering our follow up questions. We are delighted with Smith Heritage Surveyors. Their written Report was thorough and very helpful. We met with the Surveyor at the end and he was very friendly and informative, going around the house with us and explaining everything. The after survey experience with Smith Heritage is excellent too and nothing is too much. We can highly recommend them.

David has given me a very thorough survey with clear reference photos that are useful to share with craftspeople who need to do remedial work. Just what I wanted as a perspective of an older Edwardian property. It is a very useful document to highlight works to be done.

David carried out a brilliant survey for us and met us on site to walk us through his concerns with the property. He is approachable and very acknowledgeable about old buildings. Reading the survey itself was very educational and included recommendations of how to preserve an old building and allow it to breathe. We are hoping to work with him again.
