I highly recommend Northwood Bassets. Archie Blackler was incredibly helpful and answered all our questions and many follow up questions over email and phone expediently. Even took measurements of the property's door frames as we were very far away and travel was difficult and we wanted to know if certain furniture would fit. Sent a helpful video too.

I have been working with Bassets as a full time landlady since 2007. Almost all of my current tenants have been found by Bassets and of late I have not bothered to approach any other letting agents at all. I have attempted to work with several, but Bassets are heads and shoulders above the rest. I feel like they are almost friends, but I know their professionalism is impeccable and I know they will never deceive me or try to manipulate me. I can`t say that of all agents at all. Their original founder, David Clayton, has sadly now retired. He was a man of impeccable integrity, but the management of Bassets and the entire team have held onto his ethos very firmly and working with them is always a pleasure.

I used Bassets to let out my UK house for several years when I emigrated overseas. Excellent service and support. When I finally sold the property via Northwood-Bassets, everything was handled very well and professionally.

Lied at every point of the rental, over occupied the property and did not respect my quiet enjoyment. One of there agents let them selfs in my room unannounced. Record every interaction. Assume they are lying to you. Check they have put your deposit in a safe guarding scheme then check it yourself. Change your locks (check on shelter how to do this within the law). Or better yet use anyone else.

We recently completed on the purchase of a bungalow. The vendor was resident overseas which proved difficult sometimes with information flow. However Nathan kept us up to speed with the status of our purchase and always responded quickly to any queries we had. We will definitely be using him again in any future house transactions
