Salisbury Library

I have always wondered what it looked like inside the library. My curiosity eventually got the best of me and I went in with the family to have a look. We ended up registering as members. And we loved it. Even though we went in about half hour to closure, our registration was quick. The person at the reception was helpful and kind enough to tell us how it all works. Getting a book was as easy as taking it off the shelve and putting on the checkout machine. We got two books in the end. We will definitely be going back. P.S: This library is right at the Salisbury City Centre and quite accessible. Opening time most week days is from 9 am to 7 pm except on Mondays.

Very helpful Librarians, excellent range of books, together with book ordering service. Also national & local papers available to read.

No toilets, I think this ridiculous for a public library with a children's area. Not only do you have to trek elsewhere for use of the toilet but you'll have to take your kids, desperate for loo, down into cold, dark and frankly gross market Square toilets where you'll have to pay for the pleasure of holding them above the questionable seat before trudging back up the steps and across the road only to find there is no longer a space to sit and read with them.
