We liked this B&B in a historic townhouse a lot. Very friendly hosts. Steve had great recommendations for a sightseeing in and around the town. He also ensured we had parking permits just in front of the house. Our room had the name-giving cathedral view. While a busy road during the day, it becomes quite at nighttime. The room was very spacious, and with its fireplace conveyed a historic feeling. Breakfast was selected the evening before from a menu and included carefully selected local food.

Lovely b + b right opposite the cathedral, we were met by Steve, who gave us a parking permit to park the car directly opposite the premises. He gave us all the info we needed for the hotel and lots of other very useful info for your time in the city, from walks to places to eat, ( some even give discount for staying at the b+b ). He showed us to our room, plenty big enough on the first floor, sadly we didn't have a view of the cathedral, just of the gardens at back of the property. Plenty of space in the room and the bathroom too. The bed was large and comfy. There was kettle and tea/coffee etc and biscuits. If I were to have a moan the only thing would be the small TV, and lack of electrical plugs, only one socket by one side of bed, two on other, and one by the kettle, I have phone and camera batteries that need charging as do most people, so not really enough plugs, even some USB plug sockets would help. Apart from that the room was great. Breakfast was really good, you put down what time you wanted it, when you came down in the morning Steve and Wenda would be there to greet you, you could have bowl of cereal/fruit, oats followed by full English and orange juice, with tea/coffee and endless toast with homemade jam. Overall a lovely, well placed b+b for exploring Salisbury. Thank you Wenda and Steve..
