From the outside looks fantastic, very friendly welcome. Fantastic wedding venue, but I was there on a business trip for two nights, rooms have everything you need but mine was a small double, I am not that large but had real trouble squeezing into the bathroom between sink and door, there was no where to put your toiletries only the high window sill. The TV was the size of an I pad with no remote control a real nuisance. The bed felt nice a soft when you sat on it but was hard a hell to try and sleep on not a very good night's sleep at all, along with the thin walls you hear everything that was going on next door, shower running, toilet flushing the lot, people walking about upstairs. The hall light remained on all night and as the door had a gap under it, it was like daylight all night I couldn't turn it off to sleep. The first night we ate in the restaurant the food was fantastic, but residents only had a choice of three dishes so second night ate else where, which is a pain trying to find somewhere. Next morning full English was brilliant again wonderful service. But second morning no cooked offering, we were left to our own devices in a dark room that looked like a living room with cereal and toast left out no-one around to ask where things were to get more milk or anything. No tables to sit at it was just not acceptable. We managed to get something to eat but very disappointed. No-one in reception till just before we had to check out and then could not get a receipt as the printer had broken down. Had to wait till we received an emailed version. Not sure what this venue is trying to be, but if it is taking paying guest it should look after them for the whole of their stay. My company was paying the bill but if had I would have asked for a discount for the second night. It was not a totally unpleasant experience but a few things did spoil the stay. I would have to think quite hard as to weather I would stay again.
