Going to change my bank from Barclays to somewhere who will help me every time. Working 5 days, Thursdays the branch is closed. I dont need to talk about the counter. When people have business accounts to pay in some cash with coins, how they will do that, when the counter is Closed. Saturdays counters are not open. Well why are you closed on Thursdays?

useless. 4 hours on hold and no answer, went into local branch to get a member of barclays staff moaning they have to work over time, rude and sarcastic staff

Barclays bank is Europes most prolific investor in fossil fuel projects. In fact, theyve increased their investments in extractive projects in recent years. On their website, Barclays says its purpose is to deploy finance responsibly to support people and businesses. Can you explain how spending 104 billion on fossil fuels is responsible, when climate breakdown causes 150,000 deaths each year? On their website, it also says that Barclays success is judged by how they act responsibly for the common good and the long term. How is contributing to 150,000 deaths a year responsible? Their CEO was paid a 4 million bonus in 2020. On the website, it also says that Barclays provides assistance for people going through difficult times. In 2020, 55 million people were displaced due to climate change. Does Barclays provide support to their customers when theyre affected by extreme weather?
