I'm actually lost for words with how awful my experience has been, dealing with ABLE.
After quoting for a new bathroom floor, new carpets throughout and a few bits of furniture removing... We are now 2 months down the line and still phoning them daily to get them to come back and complete the work.
The contractors have...
1. Cut corners - the wooden flooring under our bath is so rotten you can literally poke your finger through it.
2. Turned up late - Almost every visit they were due between 8am & midday. I don't think they turned up once before midday in the 5+ visits we've had.
3. Quoted 2 days to rip up/replace bathroom floor AND replace carpets throughout my 2 bed flat. I told them I don't think it's possible but was assured it would get done.
4. When they eventually came to remove one of our sofas, they took the wrong one. We made it blatantly obvious which one to take.
5. They eventually sent 2 contractors out and promised the carpets would be finished that day. It's now a week later and all the rooms EXCEPT the corridor have been done.
This only scratches the surface...
The issues are still ongoing...
They require DAILY calls to get them to do anything or update you.
They frequently set days they will complete work, then crickets...
The other review must be an employee or family friend.
