Attended today to have passport check and send. Arrived early, no one in and 3 desks open. 2 staff chatting for 2/3 minutes before called forward. Till 3 'lady' rude, obstructive, claiming form wrong. Felt she just couldnt be bothered. PR skills absent. Went to Eccles. What a change. Lovely staff. Passed on advice and found it refreshing. Thank you Eccles staff.

Unfortunately I had quite an unpleasant experience yesterday at this branch. I was served by Tracey who was rude, agitated, talking over me, not listening to me and repeatedly saying the same thing. I needed to use several services at the counter. She refused to help me calculate how many of which stamps I needed to use that I brought with me and she insisted I add it up myself, saying Youll need to add it up yourself, if I had a calculator Id do it for you. It took me by surprise that you dont have a calculator in a post office. Not even on your computer screens? Luckily I took my phone so I could use the calculator on there, to work it out. It does beg the question whether she would have treated an elderly person like that? My Mum wouldnt know how to use her phone as a calculator! She also kept saying Id already used a stamp, which I hadnt but I was happy to use another one, but she kept repeating the same thing over and over, talking over me and saying thats why theyve changed the stamps. I hadnt used the stamp but she seemed to think it necessary to keep repeating that I had, which was a little rude. But mainly it was the way she spoke to me that was upsetting. Overall she just didnt seem like she wanted to be there which is a shame as other counter staff in that branch have always been polite, calm and helpful before. I wont be using that branch again now. It was quite an unnerving experience and I wouldnt want to risk being served by her again.
