The Profitable Firm

I joined PF's Accelerator course for accountants because I wanted to learn to write better blogs and understand more about how marketing truly works. Before I joined, I assumed that luck or magic played a big role in successful marketing. After going through the full Accelerator, I know that success is not found but achieved through an actual formula. The formula for successful marketing is a commitment to consistently providing truthful and useful communication to a very specific audience. I also discovered that marketing is for someone that is committed to being a part of their firm's marketing efforts. It is not for someone that simply wants to increase sales. It is for someone who wants to have a focused direction for their firm to grow towards, and it takes time. I have found Karen to be very personable and understanding especially with the "growing pains" that I am going through to dedicate more of my time to marketing. She demonstrates a strong respect for work life balance for her clients, her team and herself. I have found Karen's team members to be very helpful. One of them taught me to use keywords to improve my blogs. Another contacted me directly because she was writing a blog related to a question I had briefly discussed with Karen. It was great that she wanted to fully understand my position so she could help me (and others) get our questions answered.

I worked at close quarters with The Profitable Firm for a number of years as a freelance copywriter. The culture Karen has created within the company is second to none. It's a wonderful company to work with and for, and that is reflected by the high standard of their output. I've seen firsthand that clients are heard, relationships are developed, and quality is delivered. Over the last 14 months, Karen and the team at The Profitable Firm have been working with me on marketing for my firm. They understand my niche and design marketing materials that are visually appealing to my prospects. My first experience of PF was hearing Karen speak at Xerocon. I loved the message she conveyed and signed up to the Content Marketer course. It was brilliant and I found a love for doing our own marketing. Before long I realised to do it well we needed support and after a few conversations knew that PF were the firm we needed to help us. We started with brand identity, then a strategy sessions and now regular monthly marketing and website support. They also helped with some ad-hoc website work including migrating our website to much faster servers (we had a rubbish response time before!!), all suggested by them. I still love being involved but it's great to know we have a brilliant resource to work with both on content generation but also strategy. PF know our industry inside out, which other more general agencies don't and they have a brilliant team that can help us with pretty much anything!
