As a previous member of staff from tech.m I can assure you that, If your looking to be micro managed and not have a voice to be heard of, and looked down by head of operations by whichever position your in whether advisor,sme or TL. This is the place. The head of operation (z) does not contribute to any buisness or wellbeing of any Position. Rather the fact is she tries to get away with minimal effort on any task and evading work,as she is nowhere to be seen majority of office hours. Policy of complaints are to be escalated to sme if you can't resolve this, then to TL. But most likely they tell you to chase with others as they don't like to be disturbed . So your going in circles. The only ones who actually help within the establishment is the floor walkers. Pay is well compared to other contact centres. However do not recommend if you are not local as if you live far the expenses for travel/public travel is severe. Also there is no canteen that provides hot food or company parking . So you will have to park 10 mins away in residential street. The training is fast paced, knowledgeable but 60% of this is not needed when you are in actual buisnesss or gradbay. Need to spend more time on system and customer service+tech service training which is ideal. aswell group activities to make sure the class isn't falling asleep. If I didn't have previous experience in contact centre I wouldn't have known what I would be doing. Aso there is no sick pay if you are genuinely ill. Everyone has hay-fever apparently. Hard to work as tech agent when you have tech issues yourself most of the time as systems are slow and hard to deal with when the customers on the line, Unless your great at what you do.but I doubt this will get fixed any time soon. But the view is amazing especially when the weathers nice.
