I have stayed here a few times over the years with family and friends and I have never been let down. Hosts are fabulous and nothing is ever too much for them. Both Sue and Nick are on hand to offer advise and guidance on local attractions, places to eat/drink, and beautiful countryside walks with views that are breath taking. The house itself and the grounds are beautiful, really feel like your abroad when staying here. Would definitely recommend and look forward to our annual visit soon.

PLEASE read before booking and AVOID! Lots of hidden extra charges - 300 for us to have the pool open, 85 for fuel and electricity. House is very dirty and the landlords try and retain the deposit for their dirty sheets and carrying out basic cleaning tasks. They expect you to take all rubbish away with you. Owners are quick with responses when they want money but otherwise very slow and INCREDIBLY rude. We left items behind and they were left in a bin bag for us to collect from a dirty bin and a pair of headphones were left in a CRUMBY and USED sandwich bag. Genuinely the worst customer experience of my life these people deserve NOTHING.

The good: Lovely outdoor space with lots of games Bathrooms are newly redecorated Downstairs space is good with large kitchen, dining area and lounge. Owner prompt in responding to issues during stay All areas clean and tidy The Bad Smell in ensuite for first 24 hours made it very unpleasant - owner attended to resolve, smell was better after Light bulb to landing exploded leaving shards of glass in carpet and no lights to most upstairs areas. Difficult to clean in the dark and dangerous especially with young children. Owner responded next morning when informed and got lights back on, although didnt appear surprised about this happening - maybe ongoing issue given age of installation No cold water to upstairs bath for 24 hours although this did seem to resolve itself overnight Washing powder stuck to sheets to upstairs bedroom. Owner apologised and changed next day. But this made for a disturbed nights sleep. Kitchen, lounge and bedrooms are all dated, despite claims that they are all newly decorated. Carpets are new. We were charged 85 for three nights fuel and electricity which if pro rotad over a full year suggests the owner has annual bills of over 10,000 which seems highly unlikely.
