I have been using Rex's electronic ignition and 12V lighting in my XT500 for 10.000+ km, of which 5200 km Paris-Dakar rally recently. This system works flawless, the bike runs great! Rex's support with technical questions has been great!

I have recently had my 1973 Kawasaki H2 750 CDI and stator refurbished by Rexs Speed Shop, which were in poor condition. The refurbishment is quality and condition restored back to better than new. All pick-up coils have been checked and a detailed sheet stating the values of each, along with the test results of the stator coils. I was unfortunate to encounter a small problem when pressing the stator in to the housing, but Rexs put the issue right within a quick time frame with no hassle. Well worth having the refurbishment carried out to finish off a restoration project and piece of mind for reliability when youre dealing with 40+ year old electronics. Would highly recommend the products and service on offer.

I use the RMK-4 set on my XT500 Rally Special for 3 years now. No more worries about ignition or electric power. Good starting and high revving, perfect lights. In wet and dry, hot and cold. And the 180 offset error became history. Good and quick support via email.

Be prepared to pay high shipping and very high duty tax I payed 42 shipping and 52 duty tax .i think k I've been ripped off

Purchased a 12V conversion kit for my XL250 from Rex's Speed Shop. When I came to fit the kit I found that the new stator would not fit. I called Rex's Speed Shop and was told to send an email detailing the issue, which I did. Heard nothing back, so I called again the next afternoon. I was told that someone would investigate the issue and call me the following morning. Yet again I heard nothing, so for the third time I had to call RSS. Turns out the kit was not suitable for my particlular bike. I asked if I could return the kit for a refund, stating that the kit was pristine and unused. Things then turned from bad to worse. The guy on the phone basically said it was my fault for ordering the wrong part and that as 30 days had passed they would not accept a return. He then added that they did not give a toss about receiving negative feedback. So, if I could give zero stars the I would! UPDATE FOLLOWING REPLY FROM OWNER. I actually purchased the item 6 months ago, and would have been more than happy to pay a 'return to stock' administration fee. There was absolutely no attempt on your your part to reach an amicable solution, and as previously stated, this was after 3 days of me chasing for an update. I certainly was not abusive, and any rudeness on my part came about after a member of your staff stated 'we laugh at negative feedback'.
