So glad we made the 120 mile round trip. Great advice from friendly and knowledgeable people. A great range available for all budgets. Gave us lots of hands-on time with different binoculars, which you dont get elsewhere. Plenty of bird life around to test them on. Highly recommended, would definitely buy again from Feathers Optics.

Great shopping experience. Knowledgeable staff, great range of top quality binoculars to chose from and the important ability to be able to try them outside across woods and farmland. This is so important, I would have purchased the incorrect pair if I hadn't had chance to look at highly reflective areas! If you're serious about getting the correct pair of binoculars do to Feathers. Highly recommended plus you'll most likely get a cup of tea!

I was looking for a pair of 10x42 binoculars for my other half's birthday and found Feathers online. They have an excellent web site. I called first and had a very informative conversation with Joe, the owner. So we paid a visit to try the varied range of 10x42 brands they had in stock. The shop is in a farmyard surrounded by countryside and they have birdfeeders in their yard, so we were able to try out the binoculars for real, near and far. From a varied line up to choose from and honest advice, we eventually ended up spending less than we thought for an impressive pair of Vikings. Across the yard is Buster's farm shop, and down the village lane is the Salehurst Halt pub, a freehouse. So all in all, a pleasant and productive outing in the East Sussex countryside.
