3 years ago I walked into skin kitchen clueless wanting my horrid tattoo/scars covered, where I was introduced to Nate (waveyink), couldnt be happier with being introduced to him, he did an absolute AMAZING job at covering everything up.. and now 3 years later I have a full sleeve all done by nate and again i honestly couldn't be happier with his work, I plan on getting more and i would now never go to anyone else, I have seen his work blossom over the years he really has come far highly recommended him to anyone that comments on my sleeve or anyone mentioning wanting a tattoo 10/10 for nate 100% Services: Sleeve tattoos, Tattoo cover-ups & reworkings

Bad vibes on bad vibes. Went in to get a walk in tattoo and was met by a very unhelpful person who couldnt even look at you whilst he spoke to you and then someone called Jade who just stared at me didnt even know she was a member of staff by her behaviour, on top of the fact that there was some shouting coming from out the back about how long it had taken me to get to the shop. Completely Unprofessional all round. Spoke to jade about what I wanted and then asked for something small on my finger at the same time and she said no without being able to properly explain why the answer was no. (Bearing in mind, I had called up not too long before asking for a full finger tattoo and being told to come in because Jade can do it there and then, I then changed my mind on positioning on my way to the shop). I was also told my friend was not allowed to come into the room with me I asked why that was and if it was because it was a small area and they said no just shop policy. Fine if thats this particular shop policy but very strange as never heard this before and neither did the tattoo shop I went to after which was just amazing in everything. There is a reason why a shop is available to do walk ins and from the second we stepped in, both me and my friend did not feel comfortable to the point where I half filled out the form and said Id changed my mind - just had to get out of there. Do not recommend at all. Happy Easter

I cannot speak to all of the artists here, but had an awful experience with Jade yesterday. My friend and I came in from 15 miles away just for a tattoo consultation with hershe walked into the room, didnt even smile or introduce herself. She shot down every idea my friend had for her tattoos, made faces when she tried to explain them, did not make other tat suggestions, and did not even try to reccomend a colleague. The appointment was not for me, of course, but Jade did not look me in the eye once, even when I made comments. We were trying our best to be polite and open, but Jade basically told her her ideas were bad and that she would never tattoo them. When we left, she did not smile or even say goodbye. She seemed annoyed to be there and had an incredibly stuck up, egocentric attitude toward tattoo art. I have several tattoos and Ive accompanied many friends to their tattoo bookingsI have NEVER met an artist so rude and condescending. The whole experience was incredibly discouraging and uncomfortable. I dont understand how she ever gets clients. After, we went to another shop down the street, just walked right in, and were immediately met with a warm, friendly artist who reassured my friend that her ideas were good and indeed possible. She was so sweet and made great suggestions and even drew on my friend with a marker to show how it might look. Again, I cannot speak for everyone at Skin Kitchen, but I would avoid Jade at all costs. It was abysmal.
