Solar is good. I m giving 2 stars due to messy installation process. Debris left all around the house, including neighbours garage and I had to clean the neighbours garage due to this. Pallets and boxes left behind... installation is a total mess.

Very happy with our system which is generating solar power even though were still in January. We had approached a few companies for quotes but REST were the only one to actually send someone to see our house and not just use Google earth. He was very patient explaining everything and answering all our questions. Installers turned up on time and were extremely efficient and polite and left no mess. Scaffolders were subcontracted and did cause some issues damaging some tiles but they were all put right by the installers and we were reimbursed by the scaffolders for the cost of the tiles so no big issues. All documentation has been received and follow up calls to make sure we are happy with the system. Already recommended REST to some friends. Looking forward to summer to see all the solar power being generated.

Rest renewable installed my solar system with battery. The sales pitch and initial contract was very slick and professional. I wanted to produce as much electricity as possible and opted for a 20 panel system with 3kw battery with solar edge monitoring for 13000 . (Knowing what I know now I would have had less panels and more battery storage, perhaps I should have been advised of this?) The installation was delayed a week initially but when it went ahead it was relatively smooth apart from the 3 solar edge modules were faulty and the growatt would not link up online. ( no fault of rest for solar edge). I had bird cage installed that was defective and fell off. This was eventually replaced with a number of issues regarding scaffolding etc. The system has worked well since apart from one panel showed as only producing one third of what it should. I contacted rest as it was about a year from instalation reporting the problem. They informed me that the warranty was with the manufacturer of the panel. Hassan spoke with the manufacturer who requested further information which would involve physically removing the panel. Hassan then said he would as a gesture of good will (as warranty is with the manufacturer)provide a replacement panel but I would have to pay for the Installation and scaffolding etc. To date no panel has arrived. (I would have paid for scaffolding etc) Buyer be ware. If a panel fails Rest will not replace any faulty panel they will simply say you need to contact the manufacturer. ( in my case the manufacturer no longer sells panels in the uk or so I am told).I left this review for some time but on my experience I would make sure any installer provides full back up as any warranty (mines 25yrs) seems worthless. My advice is make sure any company you choose will back the guarantee up. I could ramble on further as there have been numerous conversations but I will leave it here.
