Hello Ramsgate Police I see you've kept my previous review from appearing on your site. Oh dear, did i say too much ? Did I cause anybody distress by requesting proof of wellbeing of my son, Colin Nsabasi Etteh, who was taken out of the UK under questionable circumstances 10 years ago by Akpan Etteh of the Church of the Nazarene Croydon ,and hasn't been seen since ?

Alerted Ramsgate Police to concerns about the wellbeing of a profoundly autistic UK citizen last seen 10 years ago after being taken abroad. Ramsgate Police : Awww that's a shame but there's nothing we can do to confirm the wellbeing of a person outside of the UK Me : You ever heard of an Embassy or a consular office ?

You guys are properly geared up!i woke up last night to my doorbell, police was asking if someone has climbed through my window! And then i noticed that they are using a drone! How cool! Anyways, the flat below me was investigated , but always happy to help! I love tech, and it's so cool to see that the justice system is upgrading to keep ahead of crime! It was brilliant. Much love to you guys

I wanted to share an experience that happened to me about 8 months ago when I had an encounter with my local Ramgate police force that I think should be addressed by those in charge. I was stopped while driving a friends car in St Lukes Avenue after being followed all the way from Victoria Parade. This encounter was not pleasant and the officers that stopped me were extremely aggressive and openly rude. On being stopped I immediately stepped out of the car so I was able to converse with the officer face to face. They questioned whether I was insured to drive the vehicle by shouting at me in a very accusing manner. On me explaining that I was indeed insured, by being the owner of several cars of my own they looked surprised and a little disappointed and asked for me to share my details so they could validate my claim, which I did. On my details being confirmed they said I could go on my way. Before they left I ask them why they were so aggressive, angry and intimidating and explained how unpleasant the whole experience was for me. What they said here is why I feel obliged to make this review. The officer in charge said to me "I'm glad it was unpleasant for you, that means we are doing our job properly'... Really, Is this the local police force that is here to serve us. Lots of press about the behaviour of the police across the country at the moment but it is this attitude that will work against them in the long run. Everyone is not guilty until proven innocent, quite the opposite and I can't see how this local police force can get the local community working with them until they address this rather unpleasant behaviour of their officers. The police force is there to serve us as a community and they should do all they can to make sure our encounters with them are not so confrontational. I know they have a difficult job but they are not employed to intimidate the community they serve.
