        Was told yesterday by Carl Whitewood the guy who runs the place that I could get a food parcel and I could collect it today between 8 and 2 and there was nobody there at all when I turned up at half 12

        Christian charity run by Christian church leader Carl, his lovely wife Heather and a team of volunteers, some of whom hold absolutely no gnostic persuasions. It's more a free meal outlet than a spiritual oasis to be honest. It's run as a charity focused on meeting the material needs of the poorest in Ramsgate. Naturally the lazy and immoral will turn up alongside the genuinely unfortunate looking for a free meal. It's the place to go if you're looking to be on first name terms with the boldfaced thief in your community.
