Bought a house 11 years ago.... we are still trying to finalise the sale and get everything right. The freehold wasn't put into my name and was subsequently sold to another person. It's not all the solicitors fault but they didn't complete the sale and only realised it when, 4 years after the completion of sale, I phoned to ask where my lease hold was as I hadn't received it. Not gonna lie 11 years later...I losing my patients.
