The Pink House Margate

We really loved it here. We stayed in the Pink Room - it was extremely nicely done with real attention to detail and glorious sea views. Lydia and Tom were exceptional hosts, down to providing home made cake upon arrival and the breakfasts were completely delicious with a great choice. The house is very central and a great place from which to explore Margate. Highly recommended.

Where to start ? We spent the May Bank Holiday in Margate and it was pretty rubbish weather so let's just say Margate wasn't at it's best ... but staying at The Pink House made it the most perfect weekend. The house is perfectly located - close to town but slightly set apart from the crowds [and literally moments from the train station]. We were in the Pink Room with the most comfortable bed, fabulous bedding and a really impressive bathroom [the hot bubble bath was so appreciated after being caught in the rain !]. Mark and Lydia were the most welcoming hosts and had thought of so many little touches to make our stay extra special. And the breakfast !!!! let's just say that we may need to come back just to sample what else is on the breakfast menu. Thank you both and see you soon Honestly one of the most gorgeous places we have stayed and we can't wait to come back [maybe try the Grey Room this time !]
