Angela's guest suites

I cannot gush about these rooms and this restaurant enough! They are beyond marvellous! We stayed in room 3 at the top, which has the separate lounge area. It is stunning, and the attention to detail for the furnishings impossible to not appreciate. We also got a goodie bag of Angela / Dory treats, which introduced me to the best poached pear I've ever eaten. Drooling just thinking about it... If you're looking for somewhere special to stay in Margate, this is the place to book.

Shower and bed are good. Location excellent. 4 flights of stairs which wasn't mentioned until payment was taken. Room too dark and funky for our taste and insufficient lighting to compensate, but some will love it. Room needs some TLC. 2 lights not working, windows dirty, curtain between bathroom and bedroom coming off pole. Door to room sticks and is hard to open. 24 hour number to call with requests or problems but not the same as a presence at check in. Would be fine for younger, able-bodied people. No cleaning supplies or slippers as advertised.
