Belmont Heights

We stayed in the (lower ground) twin room at Belmont Heights and shared the whole house with friends and family. The flat has a brand-new feel to it and is impeccably clean. The beds are comfortable and have two very thick, full pillows. Great, strong shower (with bathtub) as well as a slow-closing toilet seat, which is great when sharing with children. ;) Theres even a washing machine and a dryer (tabs provided), which came in handy. The kitchen upstairs is very modern with all brand-new looking and stylish mod cons and nice crockery. It opens up to a living room and was perfect for cosy dinner evenings with loved ones. From the kitchen you can access a little terrace with seats and a cute little square of green grass. The house is in a perfect spot, right in the middle of train station and beach. Meaning it takes about 5min to get to either! Its also just off the main street so everything is super easy to find and theres a Coop literally 2 min from the house. Carly and Karim were very quick and easy to get hold of for any questions and super friendly, making us feel very welcome and at home in Broadstairs- thank you so much! Broadstairs felt very relaxed and a bit sleepy, which is so regenerating coming from the big city and yet it has some lovely modern coffee shops, book shops, some very good pubs and restaurants and a few nicknack shops to browse around in. The people are so friendly wherever you go! It must be the calming effect of the ocean :)
