Rooms: Very clean, bed comfortable, Dickensian theme throughout. Nearby activities: Beaches a short walk away, plenty of places to eat and drink, minigolf was fun. Food & drinks: Great view from the Royal Albion for food and drink. Posillipo Italian restaurant provides great food and service. Star of the sea amazing fish and chips. Noteworthy details: Treasure hunt in the house available for adults and children: well worth asking for.

Absolutely gorgeous, love everything victorian this beautiful back to back home has been carefully refurbished back to victorian era around Charles Dickens Oliver Twist and Fagin. Every thing has been throughly thought out and carefully restored. We came here for our wedding anniversary highly recommended. Weather you love history or like quirky you will love this place. Victorians didn't care about disability so please bare this in mind

This is a really quaint Dickensian cottage, full of surprises. We have booked a couple of times with holiday-cottages in Broadstairs and they never fail to deliver. This one in particular is true to Charles Dickens legacy with lots of interesting reads and artefacts throughout, makes the stay even more interesting; when you stay make sure you take part in the cottage quiz! Visited Fagin's Den when it first opened and what an experience. I can truly say it is fun for all ages! Me and my friends visited Fagin's (mid twenties) and had so much fun. Such a brilliant concept of staying in a fully interactive accommodation that gave 'escape room' feels as well as the comfort of a 5 star self catering facility. The quiz was amazing and we were very lucky to find Fagin's stash... Being so close to the beach and town filled with lots of bars and restaurants made the holiday an all round experience and cannot wait to come back again. Thank you for such an incredible holiday Bev and Phil, you are fantastic hosts and were so helpful with recommendations and hospitality!
