I was new at this surgery and have been removed from their list after missing blood pressure appointments because I was sick at the time. I am really disappointed with how this was all handled. In my view, not how a GP service should treat patients. No respect or sympathy.

The latest experience of this GP practice. 0 out of 5. I have been asked by Kent and Canterbury Hospital to make a complaint to the health and care ombudsman about this practice and their negligent cancer care of my partner. The ombudsman and the surgeon from the hospital have asked me to report their conduct to NHS England as an official complaint. Having been discharged from hospital care, the GP practice refused to provide medical sick notes. So we had to make 2 more journeys back to the hospital, to see the surgeon again, and then the theatre coordinator. Hospital policy.... Once a patient is discharged from the hospital care, the patients GP should undertake any further care, including providing surgical site and dressing care, any additional drug provision, and sick/ fit notes. Not according to Broadstairs medical practice policy. For any patient with cancer, be prepared to hit a brick wall with this appallingly bad GP practice. They believe post surgical care stays with the surgeon, even though the hospital is 21 miles away from the patients home. Let us see what NHS England and CQC make of this negligent care from this GP practice. Registration to a new GP practice has already commemced.

If you care about your life and your health avoid this GP surgery. The receptionists are extremely rude and useless! I have a private medical insurance and my GP had to complete a form for me so I could use my insurance for treatments but the receptionist didnt let me ask my GP and told me that they wouldnt complete forms for patients. So, I could not use my private health insurance and now I have to wait months for a treatment! These people have no sympathy or respect!

You have to explain your condition to the unqualified receptionists whom get to decide if you are allowed a doctors appointment. Otherwise you wait a month to speak to the doctor.

I was very grateful to be offered an appointment the same morning for my daughter who was experiencing breathing difficulties because of a headcold. She is Asthmatic so seeing her promptly was very important. Thank you to Dr S. Qureshi for a caring and thoughtful assessment as well as follow up information sent on my telephone via SMS. Excellent service.
