Local community woodland formerly the site of a Theological Seminary (demolished 1965) a segment of Sir Moses Montefiore's extensive East Cliff Estate and immediately aside his Synagogue and Mausoleum. Approximately 1.5 acres maintained by volunteers and since 2014 registered by the council as "a village green." Pleasant little spot.
