I like this pub for a few reasons.... The beer is excellent - they always serve a fantastic pint in here. Nice rotation of guest ales too! The decor is nice and rustic. Plenty of natural wood and brick on show and a really generous fire place in the winter. Very cosey. Lastly, this pub has some great views out over the harbour and into the sun. Especially later in the day just before the sun goes down. On the downside there is no immediate parking outside, there is no outside area to enjoy and it can sometimes be a bit quiet in here although I've only been during the afternoons All in all a very good pub that I could easily spend hours in. God save the king !!

Great pub for live bands. I visited 4 times in the four months and have enjoyed each visit. From bands like Black Roze playing their own songs to cover bands like The Moles and Ozzies Uglies playing some great songs from the past. Each time, the staff have been friendly and professional. This, along with the customers, creates a great atmosphere

Great pub, good prices, pool table 50p a game, dart boards and spacious.
