CJST driving

Posting on behalf of my daughter JJ: Chris is an incredible instructor, he is extremely knowledgeable and helpful when answering the many questions or concerns I had, very understanding and flexible when it came to unsuspected rearrangements of normal lesson times/days and every lesson was extremely beneficial as I always found myself learning something new every lesson which ultimately led me to passing first time with full confidence following Chris's brilliant lessons. He is a genuine and nice person who is easy to get along with, making lessons very enjoyable and something I always looked forward to during the week. Highly recommend CJST driving (Chris)to anyone learning to drive!

Chris was a brilliant instructor - patient, thorough, and engaged. Made me feel comfortable and confident very quickly, working to my pace and it never feel like lessons were being squeezed in for the sake of it. Enjoyed the whole experience and more importantly it was successful, passing first time with Chris with 2 minors, which is far more testament to his supreme work than any natural driving talent.

Would highly recommend Chris as a driving instructor. Very patient and proactively identifies recurring issues, tailoring lessons around what you need to succeed whilst still allowing for introspection and input on your part. He makes it clear the progress that you are making over time and is a highly reassuring presence. His exam day routine is also a very calming approach, which helps to deal with the nerves that may surround this. I think of particular value in his approach is that he focuses on cultivating understanding rather than just teaching by rote. Because you are taught the reasoning behind road traffic laws you develop intuition and are well prepared for novel situations. You are also enabled to take an active role in your learning by being able to reflect on how you can improve yourself, which is a skill that you can continue to practice to remain a good driver going forward. If you are looking for a driving instructor you won't find one better than Chris!

Fab. Chris is a great instructor. very flexible and generous with his time. good company too. I'd happily recommend him to anyone wishing to learn
