I was recommended to this practice to see Rebecca but when I signed up they wouldn't let me see her and they insisted I see David instead. When I saw David I wasn't relaxed when he adjusted me and he pulled a muscle in my neck. I called back asking to see Rebecca and once I saw her, I had a wonderful experience. I then tried to book another appointment with her and I was told I could only see David. After I explained why I didn't want to see David again because I didn't feel in safe hands, I recieved an email telling me I am not welcome back at their practice from the man himself. He accused me of being threatening to his staff when I simply spoke to reception in frustration having to explain why I was not happy. So in conclusion, this practice is only good if you can see Rebecca and if you refuse to see David then chances are, you are going to get expelled. As a patient, I need to feel safe and comfortable and David didn't achieve that. When I tried to see Rebecca I was refused and they would not explain to me why that was the case. Val, the receptionist said it was marked on the system and there's nothing she could do which I found completely bizarre. I made it clear that that was not going to be acceptable and that the system would not dictate what I do. I do not have severe back pain thank God, I just wanted a minor adjustment and they didn't understand that I just needed to feel safe and receive safely administered treatment. They could have just given me an appointment with Rebecca and I even said I was willing to wait as long as it takes so long as it wasn't another appointment with David but the receptionist said no. I even wanted to recommend a mate of mine to Rebecca and I was told that he could only see David too yet she was the only reason I was willing to use and recommend their practice. I called several other chiropractors shortly afterwards and eventually found one who was highly recommended. I explained everything to them and how frustrated I was and they all agreed that it is essential that patients need to feel comfortable and in good/safe hands. They also provided me with the opportunity to see any specific Dr they had so God knows what the issue was at Broadstairs Chiropractic and why they were making such a fuss which ultimately would have put me at risk of further injury. I am now better catered for elsewhere and Broadstairs Chiropractic need to sort themselves out and start treating people with a bit more respect, consideration and transparency as opposed to the undermining and disrespectful treatment towards people with genuine reasons for refusing to be forced into doing something they don't want to do. I am the customer and patient at the end of the day and the customer is always right. In business you generally have one opportunity to recover from causing dissatisfaction but they clearly didn't think to use this opportunity to their advantage and instead they manifested this outcome. I am not the first person David has injured and I can prove this because I have heard a 3rd party's experience of David causing injury to them and also other clinics have heard the same. In my opinion David is precisely part of the reason why chiropractors sometimes get given a bad name. With a hand on my heart, I think Rebecca is a great chiropractor. She is super 'naturally' talented and that's why I made the effort to see her. I did apologise to the receptionist at the time for voicing my frustration and I thought she would have spoken to Rebecca directly to ensure I was able to see her but it's clear that David was tasked to deal with me and I think that was the wrong move. I made every effort to avoid this outcome but unfortunately there's only so much I can take before I voice my frustration because I genuinely wanted to keep seeing Rebecca. I even called David to explain why I would not see him after he sent me that email and he just hung up on me lol. I tried to have an open discussion but he wanted me to correspond in writing so hence why I've written this review, as requested

Me and my wife have been seeing Dr D and Dr B for about 4 year. The care and treatment has been excellent from both. They are both very professional and caring and I would recommend them to any like mined decent person.

This is a fantastic practice that I cant recommend highly enough. The professionalism, the friendliness, the state of the art technology, the adorable receptionists and Dr David and Dr Becky are exceptional. I had been suffering in (virtual) silence for years and within 2 visits had received a full diagnosis complete with x-rays and a plan to make life very much easier and I will be forever grateful. Thank you Broadstairs Chiropractic Clinic xx

Dr. Bec fit me in and provided quality and professional care while I stayed locally. She also gave me a few local suggestions since I was visiting. I have been traveling full time and I am fortunate when I find a health care practitioner that meets my needs as I pass through the area.
