2017 review, My father has been at this hospital for about 10 years I would say before Elysium took over hes care was above standards regards to doctors and nursing professionals, However since I have been unable to make contact with management or have management ever tried to contact me Regarding hes care I would question management qualification of management of st neots as when I visited my father Monday - Friday management arent in place? Although I believe my father still gets above standard care with the staff elyium have inherited from priory which is above standard which worries me that elysium would loss this due do the lack of communication they have with the overall practice of the workplace they have inforced. Overall I believe elysium are running this as a business instead of Healthcare practice for patients. What upsets me is that I shouldnt have to write a review to try to get a response that is probably not going to get a response or shouldn't have been written in the first place should management care about the wellbeing of its patient which I believe is below standards I will would rather be contacted by someone above the st neots management discuss this further to which I dont hold my breath. Update as of 2021, as of 2008 my father has been at this hospital originally known as the Priory group. The 2020 CQC Report is misleading Its not good, it needs improving please take the time to read current report. Although Im lead to believe the issues with computers have be rectified. But have no evidence to prove otherwise. Staff have improve very much and some are doing a great job under unprecedented times but sadly you still have a lot of improvements that still needs to be made with phone lines and a small amount of staff including doctors. Communication has also improved but still its a case of tell the family what you think they want to know instead of actually telling them the truth. Ive court them out on many occasions with regard to this. Overall since my last review as above, I believe things have improved vastly under Fiona Box but with regards to my father I believe he is happy at present under their care, hence why we havent move him but at present this is under review. Due to hes deterioration. My rating represents this review.

Rude and passive carers, have close friends who have stayed here in the past and have found it a difficult experience to stay in. Gross living conditions and no locks on toilets for privacy.

Great healthcare generally, friendly staff and good facilities. However, I agree with Adrian, it is almost impossible to speak to any management about the care of my mum. Have only actually spoken to her doctor once and she has been in for just over six months now. Need to drastically improve communication, it was very difficult to get in contact with my mum when she had her phone taken off her, only improved once I reported to nurses. Me and other relatives have tried to get contact with the doctor to arrange for her to come out over Christmas and New year over a month before, but have never got a response, at all, from the doctor.
