We engaged the services of MarkLee Builders in February and April 2021 to create a concrete slab for a garden office base and for some house renovation work including knocking through exterior wall to create new door way, bricking up, boarding and a lot of plastering and repairs to walls and ceilings. From the initial contact with Lee to quote for the job right through to the end, Lee, Mark and Andy did a great job for us, nothing was too much trouble and they kept to just our job even through they were under a lot of pressure to start another when they had to accommodate us making a change which involved some further work. They offered good and practical advice when unforeseen problems with the house were uncovered as well as offering up a really good suggestion as to the renovation of our porch as the job progressed (which we took up). Mark and Lee from MarkLee builders completed a garage conversion for us. They were fantastic from start to finish with good communication throughout, they were quick to provide a comprehensive quote that didn't change, honest about what was achievable and clear with what work they were doing each day. They worked quickly and did their best to minimise disruption. During the project a supplier to MarkLee let them down with the wrong glass but they went out of their way to make sure the supplier resolved the issue without affecting the project. After being let down by a gardening company, we asked MarkLee to extend their work and complete the garden. They went above and beyond to deliver the perfect garden, including bringing in a carpet fitter to lay our artifical grass to ensure it was perfect. I could not recommend MarkLee more and will be bringing them back for our future projects.

We chose Lee to undertake our garage conversion and are so glad we did. He was knowledgeable and listened to our requirements in depth from the moment he visited to assess the job, through to completion. He provided a detailed quotation for the works and came in on budget and on time. Nothing was ever too much of a problem when we changed a few things mid way through and Lee was more than happy to accommodate the changes and give us the best advice on how to implement the changes we wanted to help create the perfect space. The finish and attention to detail Lee showed was second to none and I cant recommend him highly enough. Great craftsmanship and a really nice, honest guy to go with it. Thanks again Lee, we are very happy with the finished works.
