During Covid the practice was, of course, unavailable. The period afterwards the NHS advice was to allow a catch-up on emergency or urgent appoints - I had neither of those. I have now tried to book a routine appoint only to be informed by the practice that, as I have not used the service, I have been removed from the list and now dont have a dentist. No letter was sent or contact with me made beforehand. I would advise anyone who has done the same to check with them.

The overall experience was very poor. I visited due to a periodontal abscess to get some antibiotics and advice. All I can say is that I was extremely disappointed with the service I received. I will never visit this place again, which is shame, because I had used MyDentist for many years in Brighton with no issues. Firstly, the dental nurse kept addressing me incorrectly by not using my full surname. A minor issue in the scheme of things, but basic stuff really, it's lazy, poor customer service, and disrespectful. The dentist was condescending and rude. His main focus seemed to be on an extraction, which he suggested several times, even before I had opened my mouth for the examination. When I told him I didn't want to lose a tooth, he blamed me, saying I should have come in sooner! I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I think his motivation was purely financial because of the additional charge involved. Completely cavalier and disgusting. Neither the dentist nor the nurse could decide on which treatment plan I was on, and openly debated this in front of me, despite me paying for the treatment upfront on their options service. It was farcical and very unprofessional. Thankfully, I got a second opinion, and there was no need to extract it, and I have had no issues since. MyDentist contacted me after I initially posted a 2 star review and encouraged me to contact the practice to raise a complaint, which I did. I was assured by the practice manager I would receive an apology, but this is yet to materialise some 6 months later, which is the reason for downgrading to 1 star.

Very happy with my Dentist, receptionists are lovely. My Dentist has never kept me waiting, is calm and effient, kind and considerate and keeps my teeth in good order.

Just had my clear correct straightening with Vasi finishing with some composite bonding, Im so so pleased with my final results. The staff were all so friendly and attentive, thank you so much Vasi for my beautiful new smile. Will be recommending to everyone! If youve been thinking of having it done its sooo worth the money!!
